PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

2000-present Tseytlin Consulting, Inc, New York, NY
Principal Scientist
Created new technologies and simulators for a number of oil and gas companies, including Baker Hughes, RES, BlackMax Technologies, GMG International, and others.
1994-2008 Baker Hughes INTEQ, TX
Developed simulators for acoustic navigation system used in directional and horizontal drilling.
Developed 2D/3D models and computer simulators for EMMWD channel communication
1995-2000 PetroEnergy Internaional LLC, New York, NY
Chief Scientist
Created New Technologies and Simulators for oil production optimization.
1979-1993 Main Geophysical Processing Center of Russian Fuel and Energy Ministry, Moscow, Russia
Chief Geophysicist
Developed several methods and new technologies applied in geophysical, geotechnological and hydrodynamic research of oil and gas wells :

Researched and developed dynamic simulator of borehole-formation-nipple (pump) system taking into account polyphasity of fluid and complex formation structure. Based on research created new more precise methods of interpreting results of hydrodynamic formation testing and new methods of oil production optimization.

Developed more accurate methods for calculation of hydrodynamic pressure during tripping. Based on result developed a new hydrodynamic fracturing method which uses drilling string movement.

Developed method of determining the position of drilling column tip relative to formation borders during horizontal drilling.

Developed several new precision hydro-acoustic methods of gas kick detection and gas pack localization during drilling and tripping. Research led to construction of corresponding device.

Developed high precision polynomial model of non-Newtonian liquid for computation of borehole pressure during washing and cementing.

Developed precise models of non-stationary thermal exchange in borehole system and surrounding formations during washing and thermal logging.
